If I had a nickel for every time a presumably dead character was revealed to actually be alive, I’d have three nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened thrice right? Anyways, as always, I liked this volume. Revealing Roy’s schemes is always a treat. Also Riza’s anguish when she thought Roy was dead? Heartbreaking. I was actually surprised by Lust’s death because I didn’t think she could actually be killed. But the biggest surprise of them all was Papa Elric coming back to Resembool. Can’t wait to see the father-son reunion. Also what happened to that little Xing princess? I miss her. Hope she’s doing okay.

Fullmetal Alchemist is the story of the Alphonse and Edward Elric. After an alchemic transmutation gone wrong, Ed and Al are on a mission to get back their original bodies. This is one of my favorite anime series and I'm really enjoying finally reading the manga.
Things get rather intense in this volume as the conflict between the alchemists and the homunculi continues. The bulk of this volume focuses on a conflict with Mustang's team and it's impossible to put down. Ed is sent in another direction to help him on his quest. As always, a great volume with nice bonus comics at the end.
