Umm, how is this series so good?!?!? Like seriously so good! I love El and Evander and we got to see Kiran and Asha. Can't wait to start the next one!

I'm glad I continued to read this series because this book was a yes absolutely.

It gave me everything I needed but didn't even know I wanted, and the growth from the first book is everything.

Phenomenal ending. Loved this new twist on a story that’s been told countless times. Taylor’s world building is one of my favorites. This series is one where each book gets even better than the one before it. I can’t wait to read the next one!

I thought I wouldn't like this book knowing that the ml is in love with another woman and not with the fl.

Male lead is a fae, he is very spoiled that's what I thought the author wanted to portray at the beginning. But he is someone who feels lonely and waiting for someone to call his. That's where the other woman comes.

And he is so utterly convinced that she is the love of his life. He goes ahead and sends a marriage proposal to her. That's where the female lead comes. His guard mistakes her as the other woman and she got tied to him cause in that proposal there was a bargain too.

It was hilarious. To be honest I was laughing at his situation.

Whew what a wild ride on this one. Quite a departure from the regular Cinderella rehash. It took me a bit to remember the other books in this series because the parasite thing threw me. But I was quite impressed that I'd fallen for the whole thing and picked the wrong girl for the whole book!
