Liked:
- single parent MC
- MC who has other shit going on besides her love life
- quirky best friend with great one-liners trope
- science-y aspect (but clearly fiction)

Disliked:
- science-y aspect gets some basic shit wrong
- FMC who thinks she’s ugly because she wears sweatshirts
- third person limited writing style

Audiobook May 2022:
I absolutely adore this book it was such a good listen. Jess and Juno had an amazing relationship and seeing Jess learn how to prioritize herself while still loving her kid and knowing that it's okay to take "me time" was so cute. Juno and River were so adorable together their relationship developing over time into a father-daughter bond was just adorable. And OH MY GOD Jess and River were just amazing he cared so much about her and their bond was amazing they knew each other so well. The romance between the two was perfect especially the tension at first. I definitely enjoyed this book, and I will likely pick up a physical copy to read and adore soon (hence me making sure it's clear this part of the review is for the audiobook).

This was cute, and tbh had a lot less misunderstandings than your average romance, so it got points for that from me.
