I loved this volume a lot and I am looking forward to getting to the next one; the art style is beautiful and the story is very funny and cute. The next volume has Zen on the cover yaayyyyy (Zen is my favorite character so far, I adore his obsession with pandas).

Spoiler Can I say how much I appreciated that Shimana let go of Asashi and respected his feelings. Also, I knew Zen liked her the moment he went to eat lunch with her in volume 1. I am routing for you Zen, so fingers crossed that my ship sails.

This had a rocky start for me, with some questionable comments and attitudes towards body image. But once that part of the story was over, I really enjoyed to direction the volume went in. There was some great character development, and it really feels like the writer is going to progress the friendships and romances in a nice organic way. Excited to continue on!

Unrequited love all around ... ouch. What a painful mess.

As much as I generally like the prickly love interest who can't figure out how to express that he'd like to be seen as a love interest, the constant negging makes it difficult for me to root for Zen. And honestly I'm still on the fence about Shimana — I don't feel like I have much of a read on her personality beyond the usual spacey shoujo protagonist quirks.

Could this manga get any cuter? Ichigo Takano is a such a great manga artist and writer and I was really excited to get to this second volume! This volume had a great message to me. It said that even if you love someone sometimes you have to do whats best for them despite what you might want. I loved reading that and seeing the main character grow so much and realize this lesson was the best thing for me. It made me so happy to read this manga as it was super sweet and super fun. I can't wait to continue on with this manga series as it is quickly becoming one of my favorites.

It's times like these that I kick myself for following the 2 volume rule. I just have the first two volumes and I need to know what happens next, but I'm going to be responsible and wait until a sale because I have bought WAY TOO MUCH manga in the past month. Ok that might be a lie, but I'll wait until I find a good deal at least.

This manga really surprised me. I had a feeling it'd be good because of how highly recommended it is, but I have interesting taste when it comes to books so I thought it was kind of a toss-up when it came to manga too. The story is adorable and the semi-love triangle is endearing and not annoying. I already have a favorite character, Zen, are we surprised? I'm not surprised at all.

I can't wait to get my hands on the next volume and see how things progress.
