Better than the other two in the series in my opinion. Introduces two new characters who are quite fun as well as some fun new villains. Still a little young as far as plot development goes, but that's what you get when you're reading juvenile fiction.

In this third book about Marigold and Christian, they are King and Queen and have a daughter of their own. However, when two exiled dastardly former evil henchman of ex-Queen Olivia plot to kidnap Princess Poppy, their happy lives are torn apart. It is up to the King Christian, Queen Marigold, and the two children of those same villains to save the Princess before it is too late.A fun romp through this fairy tale world. It is not necessary to have read the first two books in the series, but I think it makes it more enjoyable to already know the characters. Recommended for grades 3 & up.

I love Phoebe's love and appreciation for words (as well as the certain man who uses them...).

"Cogitable, thought Phoebe. Wow."

Predictable and nothing spectacular but it is what is says it is: a cute fairytale caper. Phoebe and Sebastian are adorable.

A cute final chapter to the Marigold Series. Charming and whimsical as all of Jean Ferris’ writing.

A cute fun story. A quick read once sitting down. The character interactions are fun. And the developing relationships are very nice.
