My 10 year old daughter read this book in her book club and loved it so much that she asked me to read it. It’s a sweet little story and I enjoyed it very much.

Wouldn't you love to have a redo of your 11th birthday? After reading this novel, you may want to rethink that redo day. I genuinely enjoyed reading 11 Birthdays. It was fun, fresh, and completely adorable. While the whole "reliving a day" thing is pretty common, it didn't feel like a recycled idea.

Amanda is about to turn 11 - so exciting! But exactly one year ago, on her 10th birthday, she and her best friend Leo (who shares her birthday) had a pretty serious falling out, and they haven't spoken since. All day, she feels kind of bummed and misses her old friend, only to wake up the next morning and have to live the day all over again like it never happened! How did she get into this mess? And how is she going to get out of it?

Cute premise, but I wasn't impressed with either Amanda or Leo (or Amanda's other best friend Stephanie, for that matter). It was repetitive, which was partly the point, but it made it pretty hard to stay engaged (especially considering how short the audiobook is - only about 6 hours). All in all, maybe a 4th or 5th grader would like this book, but I wouldn't use it as a read aloud like I'd hoped.

What a funny, suspenseful and surprising story. Kept having "Groundhog Day" movie flashbacks, but this story is much cleverer, and the ending is unpredictable. Wonderful book.

Aw this was so cute. Groundhog Day meets 16 wishes. A great little kids story with really good writing.
