This was a reread!! Was obsessed with the series when I was younger. Has tasteful spice but the build up of romance didn’t really work for me. I just really love pining. The concept of inter-dimensional travel is still as sick as it was when it was read

I wanted to like this book a lot more than I did. I was more interested in the multiverse aspect than the romance. I found parts of it to be very predictable, and I also found parts of it just questionable in general. I haven't yet decided if I will continue the series.

Okay, I was not expecting to like this book as much as I did. I’ve been in a reading slump and just needed an easy read that didn’t make me think too much.
However, I found myself drawing a diagram of the different worlds the characters jumped to in order to explain it to my co-worker who probably didn’t care.
I digress. This book has romance. Betrayal. Revenge. And I was down for the entire ride. Although it’s a Trilogy, I would have been okay with how the book ended and may not even continue with the series.

The audio version was brilliantly done. Though, I'm not sure if I would have been able to click with this story through reading it vs listening to it. That's okay, some books are better being brought to life from an audio actor.

where do i even start with this?? it took me quite a while to finish this not only bc i was fully annotating it but also bc i needed to close the book every so often, especially towards the end bc my pea brain needs a bit more time to process what just happened lmao all that twists at end i swear they just kept coming like my jaw hasn’t even fully closed from the first revelation, it went down again bc another twist was revealed ugh!! the signs were all there and i couldn’t believe i missed them [SPOILER] like theo calling her meg all of a sudden and using ‘drugs’ and stuff AND HER DAD BEING ALIVE omfg don’t even get me started on that,, as frustrating it was to feel so dumb for not expecting it (even tho i did have an off feeling about this and that), i love books that make me feel those type of ways

Some website told me this was one of the best audiobooks of 2015.
The story itself=meh.
Travis Gilbert as a narrator=phenomenal. Her reading alone made the book.
