Fun easy read, I always enjoy reading Lindsey Kelk novels after I've read something a bit heavy as its fun and a good laugh.

I absolutely adore this series of books! I read the Angus, Thongs series when I was younger and these really remind me of it. This book was not as good as the first book but was still great! I am now onto I Heart Paris and it's still really interesting!

Great book. I've been on a bit of a contemporary kick lately and I have really been loving this series so far. I can't wait to continue. The characters are funny and relatable. Most importantly Lindsey Kelk knows how to write a regular human being with flaws that can still capture the readers attention. Highly recommend.

Loved following her adventures and finding out what’s next for her.

I must admit I am less of a fan of this than I Heart NY!

Fabulous second tale with Angela and pals. Nicely picks up from I Heart New York and takes Angela on new adventures and introduces lovely new characters.

Overall it was a nice books. Just some bits annoyed me, like the fact that she was always drinking too much, always complain about her looks (even though everybody around her tells her she's beautiful..) and she was whining a lot.
The story was nice, but I hope the next one in the series is better.

I will be 100% awesome. I usually don't like second books in series. This is true almost constantly. Though I recognize that the 2nd must be read to fully understand the third (which I will add, I typically LOVE). So I continue to read them.

So going into this one, I didn't expect miracles. And while I did enjoy it, and will continue to read the series. I was not completely amazed by it.

Angela has been given a interview to do (her first!) in LA. With the (gasp!) James Jacobs!. She is determined not to have this interview as a reason for her to get fired...and has quite a few mishaps along the way.

Going to LA with her is her best friend, and roommate, Jenny. (Which in it's self is kind of odd, no? Take your best friend with you for work, with some expenses paid???).

I recognize that this book is a work of fiction, and largely a fantasy because the likelihood of more than 75% of it happening is largely unlikely, but I honestly think that was part of the problem for me. SOOO much of it was unbelievable. I like to drift away as much as the next person when reading, but this book just seems so made up, that it was like sickly sweet icing on a cake. Good, nice, but also disgusting.

I also found some of it didn't go. For example, Louisa comes to New York for a visit (yes, I get they are friends, and I am thinking that she will play a bigger role in at least one future book), but really, that type of visit? Really? Why put it in at all? And bring up Mark on the visit? Really? Pointless in my opinion. (And yes, now you will have to read the book to see exactly what I am talking about. *wink wink*).

Yes I enjoyed the book.
No, I am not to eager to recommend it.
No, I will not read it again. (I rarely read books a second time).
No, I am not eager to keep it on my bookshelf so I can talk about it.
Yes, I will continue to read the series. Just not right a way.

You may like it. You may not. I hope you do... Next up is I Heart Paris. Though I have 2 other reviews to do first... possibly 3 or 4, waiting to hear back ;)
