Ball Peen Hammer by Lauren Rowe

I’ve liked all the other books in this series, but I don’t think I’ve ever hated a hero more than this guy. Other reviewers talk about how sweet he is, but I thought he was an ass hat. Self-centered pothead with the maturity of a 14 year old. Tried to give him a chance, but bragging about how many married women you’ve slept with them claiming it’s not cheating was the last straw

I loved this book. It's my first Lauren Rowe novel and I will be looking forward to the Club series. This brought laughter, love and a little bit of angst. Ball Peen Hamer, the character, making the videos, was refreshing and hysterical. Maddie and Keane brought more than one smile to my face while I walked with this audiobook.

Lauren Rowe did great with her narration. Many times the author is not very good at the act of reading the story out loud but her portrayal was wonderful. Bouncing off of John Lane, who is amazing, this listen is worth all the stars.

Peenie for the win!

I can honestly Peenie is the most memorable character ever. I wasn’t even sure I could translate the stuff coming out of his mouth! But well, Peen- Keane Morgan, grows on you like a fungus!

Ball Peen Hammer may be a trip but he's a trip worth taking! Ride the Peenie Weenie to happily ever after one crazy page at a time!

He is the oddest happy little lad you'll ever meet but your life will be better for having experienced every thing Peen Star has to offer!

Overlong for how light and fluffy the tone is (much like all the 'totes hilarious' family texts) and oh my god human beings do not talk like this! They just don't. And would two 22-23-year-olds in *checks publication year* 2016 really be using Beverly Hills 90120 as their shared pop culture touchstone?

But I do love a himbo, so I finished it. There's a kinda funny and sweet road trip romance buried under all the aggressively twee slang and banter.

the writing was annoying. keane's pov was extremely annoying, but madelyn's was a little bit also.
