Morgan has found her mother's Wiccan tools, and her relationship with Cal is strong. Everything seems perfect. Except that Cal's half brother, Hunter, is stalking them. Hunter claims to be a Seeker who is investigating Cal for the misuse of magick. Who can she trust?
--------------------

This book was an improvement to its predecessors. With new characters like Hunter and Sky, the story seems to be getting a bit more interesting. I still kind of love/hate Morgan with a bit of annoyance because she is just so... so.

Will continue reading the series, I'm curious what will happen now that
SpoilerMorgan realized she is part of the "dark" clan and apparently, supposedly, according to Hunter, so is Cal.
. Curioser and curioser as the books progress.

In its genre, still great. I wanted to keep reading. I like how Cal is taking a turn.

There is no plot here. The coming inevitable twist is pretty obvious, and I feel it's being dragged out for far too long. Which may be a talent in itself given how short these books are.

I know I'll enjoy the series overall, but this third installment... ugh. Nothing happens until the end, and even then I'm pretty sure nothing actually happens.

I'll be reading the next book very soon. Not so much because I can't stand not knowing what's going to happen to Morgan, but because I actually care much more about finding out what happened to characters who are long dead. Is that sad?

Morgan now knows who she is and why she is a blood witch and so much more powerful than the rest of the coven. Is her boyfrirend Cal what he seems? Good series.

So this is the 3rd book of the series, we’re officially 1/5 of the way through and I must say I really liked this one! This is the part where things got steadily darker until it completely got out of hand in the end. It was fast paced (I think all the events happen within the span of a week and a half? Like how) which was great!

We also got to see Cal’s nemesis: Hunter a little more. I do still think he’s an insufferable prick with the tact of a cactus, but I liked that he unlocked Cal’s character flaws. Despite getting a new POV on Cal, I do like how he and Morgan dealt with consent, and especially how assertive Morgan was in her boundaries. You go girl! <3
