Very short story but also really good lesson included. I've read something similar before and it's always a little punch to the gut with some unfortunate truths about humans.

Um conto pequenino, mas com uma mensagem maior do que a Terra. Do autor de "The Martian" e "Project Hail Mary". A linguagem simples habitual, mas com muito engenho para desmontar os sistemas de significado de que se constrói a nossa realidade.

Every time you victimized someone, you were victimizing yourself. Every act of kindness you’ve done, you’ve done to yourself. Every happy and sad moment ever experienced by any human was, or will be, experienced by you.
I kinda hate the idea of the book because it scratches my brain in a bad way, but at the same time it's sweetly written and a little... comforting?
Idk, it felt like a pat on the head, but I would hate for it to be true.

How the hell did this manage to pack such a punch in only 4 pages!?! I don’t think I’ve ever read anything as mind bending and comforting as this short story and it’s one that I keep coming back to and rereading and thinking about at random moments throughout my days.
I do kind of wish the universe was like this. To know that you keep on going no matter where in time or space you end up. That is remarkably comforting.

interesting, makes you think of all the interactions you had/will have
" The meaning of life, the reason I made this whole universe, is for you to mature. "
