Honestly, I really thought that this book was just gonna be a solid 4 star. But the last four chapters really brought up the entire story for me. And Rosemary was definitely the highlight of the entire book.

Didn't enjoy it as much as the first one. Wasn't sure what I was expecting from it but it was still good. Short chapters make it easy to read.

This was.... something. I was not expecting this. In We Were Liars, they didn't lie at all, they just pushed down their feelings. There was more lying than I expected, but I also was comparing it to We Were Liars. And this mini-twist

I was like wait a minute. Let's back it up a bit.
Everyone on the island was mentally or emotionally messed up, but I think they were messed up mentally the most. I felt iffy about it especially when

and I felt bad that Rosemary had to go through that exhaustion for 5 or 6 summers,
