Even better than the first! Lots of character development and world building. I stayed glued to my Kindle, I think I only breaked for a cup of coffee :P

A let down after the first book, with some really unnecessary scenes, but I'll read the rest of the series. 2.6

This book begins with Ollie going back to the man she walked away from three months ago. She needs money badly, and she had no idea that he was making her life more difficult, until he makes it obviously. Not only that, but it seems he has also moved on from her. But not everything is as it seems, and as Ollie's life is in danger things get more and more complicated.

This book was really good. It had a lot of drama, Ollie learning something new, and getting more powerful, and it had her also learning that maybe friends aren't always what they seem.

I can't wait for more in this series, and I love the hero and heroine together, they are great!

This ended much better than it started. I was beginning to think that the "don't communicate unto stupidity" trope was going to kill this series for me, but the characters started coming around toward the end and the movement in the relationship was satisfying.

The mystery wasn't terribly convoluted but it was an enjoyable read never the less. I will read the next when it comes out.
