VERY fun. I'm usually a massive hater of written works that jump between multiple first-person narratives, but the difference in voice between all of the characters actually made every switch feel more refreshing than anything. Only parts I've got gripes with are the beginning and ending, both of which feel a little too fast-paced and underdeveloped, very ironically leaving me hungry for more.

This was good and reminded me a lot of the video game, The Quarry! A creative concept, great statements, and terrifying villains. The only thing that rubbed me wrong was how intense the stereotypes were. I don't think anyone would "bet their steam controller" on anything lol

I thought the book was fine overall. I did not enjoy the scenes where the writing turned into a movie script. I found it sort of annoying and didnt add anything to the story. I also thought the ending came very quickly all of the sudden in the story and was very anticlimactic.
But on a good note, i think the representation and critiques of the diet culture we live in are awesome. Since this is YA, im sure that means this is meant for kids as the intended audience. And i think its awesome kids get a book like this to see themselves portrayed beyond the labels society gives us.
It was a fun read and filled with action, adventure, character growth and empathy. I definitely recommend it despite the 3 stars

I received this book from the publisher/blog tour in exchange of an honest review.
I have been trying to write a review for DAYS now. It is now the 9th and I finished this book on the 4th. So I am just going to make a good/not so good review, though for most it will just be good. Because I really LOVED this book and that is why I just don’t know words any more. Haha.
