I got this book b/c I saw a commercial of the movie. And I LOVE THE ACTOR WHO IS PLAYING LIAM!!! NEVER read a Heidi McLaughlin book before but I will for now on. This book was so GOOD, WORDS can't explain how much I love this book. I ship LIAM and Josie (JoJo) so much and I can't wait for the movie!! I highly recommended this book it you LOVE epic romance!!! Definitely for the hopeless romantic!!!!

I have no idea how this book has almost a 4 star star average.

I love second chance romance, but there needs to be a good reason for the break-up! This? This was a teenage boy terrified of "the suburban life". He was such a dick for 60% of this book and the only This story villinises every single fan of Liam's. Apparently every single one of them is vain and obsessed with him plus a raging bitch. he respected were Josie and her friend.
Another part that baffled me was that he said he loves what he does, so why the hell were all his fans characterised like that? This story villinises every single fan of Liam's. Apparently every single one of them is vain and obsessed with him plus a raging bitch. And if that is who his fans are then why does he love what he does?
And the excuse that he got "sucked into" this new, amazing life of his? Bullshit.
I'm not even going to mention how much of a dick move was not answering the phone calls of the women he supposedly love because HE needed a clean break while she didn't even get a reson why her boyfriend of a few year left her out of nowhere.
This storyline makes no logical sense.

This was one of the most boring books I've read in a long time. I disliked every single character in this story. Liam and Josie were completely immature, acting more like teenagers now then they did when they actually were teenagers. I just don't buy the idea that someone who basically left everything and everyone behind 10 years ago can just walk back in the door and all is forgiven. The fact that Josie has been with Nick longer than she was with Liam and she can so easily walk away from him and the fact that he is helping raise Noah is appalling. It seems like everyone so soon forgot about Mason being dead. For goodness sake his body isn't even cold in the ground and his widow is already moving on. I have zero interest about what happens to any of these annoying and immature people in the next book.

I really enjoyed this book a lot. I love the setting, plot and ending. I did feel however that at times the characters acted a little immature and selfish but I still love the high school sweetheart love story of Josie and Liam. Josie did have a few mood swings throughout the book but I think that was to keep the book interesting and because Liam messed with her a lot by leaving.
