Both of these series have been my absolute favorites, but I think, that I like Ash and Sera the best.
I knew when I started this book that it would be awhile before I could read more of this story and even still waiting for the Poppy and Casteel ending. So I took awhile to read it because I wanted to savor it. It was worth but in true Armentrout fashion, a cliffhanger...... How am I gonna make it til one of the next books comes out!!! gahhhhhhhh

Ok, JLA this was definitely a weaker book than the first in this series. The plot was super slow-moving and there was a lot of empty space that she just filled with... well, filler stuff. I found myself slapping my face and saying "look alive, Amy... look alive." And man, oh man, did Sera get on my nerves constantly? Yes, yes.. yes she did.
Things did amp up toward the end, just to leave me feeling unfinished... until the next book. Come on now!

Wow the ending caught me off guard and I’m excited to see where the next book goes. Sera and Nyktos have been through too much and I just want a happy ending for them !!! Also JLA’s note at the end was so sweet and loved that she put the suicide hotline there. Also giving this 4 stars cause I’m trying to be stricter with my ratings this upcoming year lolll. Overall really good book and I can’t wait for the third!

Such a beautiful book, very engaging plot. Just perfect. I’m so happy two more books will come out this year. I also really need them because that ending NEEDS some answers
