Ok this book is alot. I legit have no words. I felt her pain and physically wanted to give her a hug. Ik this wasn't a romance book but i didn't really like the romance. I understand why it was there but it just made me uncomfortable. Def recommend reading it tho. Just make sure to read the TW cause it's emotionally heavy.

After reading You’d Be Home Now, I knew this was going to be just as good. Turned out it was better. This book was devastatingly beautiful. The characters were full of flaws, some more than others, every person just trying to stay alive the best they could. It was raw and reflective of so many people’s experiences. Beautifully written.

Honestly, it was really triggering for me. I know it was stupid of me to buy a book I knew would trigger me, but I feel like I’m in a better place where reading about sh and self destructive thoughts just make me feel like that fourteen year old again. And the whole drug use makes me really uncomfortable.
