3.5 stars. This was a fun read, I loved that our characters were enemies working together!

Since this book is going to take place in the same world as 'To Kill a Kingdom' even if I wasn't a fan of that I'll give this one a go.

Nice book, I expected better though. This felt too short like it needed more details and intricacy, also more of a build up between Nox and Selestra’s relationship. The fantasy was okay, pretty mediocreI’m happy that there wasn’t a part of the book where it was boring or felt overdone. But the problem with this book is it isn’t exciting. I think if I was younger and had read this I would’ve liked it much more.

I preferred To Kill a Kingdom much more.
