“Ruins of Sea and Souls” is the third book in the Fae Isles series. The story revolves around Emelin, an unbound mage, and Creon, a fae murderer. As the realm prepares for war, Emelin’s plan is to break the Mother’s bindings while her newly found friends reach out to the realm to join their rebellion. However, their allies remain wary of Em’s connection to the feared Silent Death. Forced to conceal their love, Em and Creon embark on a journey to learn more about the vanished gods. Amid dragons, ruins, and distrust, they must choose between duty and their love. Lisette Marshall weaves a steamy Romantasy with mystery and adventure, creating a captivating read that I can not get enough of!

lyn and tared continue their toxic bullshit, edored gets plague-burned hunting a mega dragon, and emelin spends days baking tarts and becoming godsworn in zera’s magical forest (could not care less ab this plot line). they defend the nymphs, figure out how bindings work, and get creon’s voice back but lose his extra magic, womp womp. hoping emelin and creon are more tolerable in the next book but not holding my breath

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌶🌶🌶🔥🔥🔥🧨💧
This book is all about character development.
So far Emlin has been portraited as fierless, brilliant, powerful MFC, but now she will have to face her own flaws and conquer her fears and traumas.
Creon has grown so much already and this books is his final step to self redemption and healing.

I love how relatable both main characters are. I could see myself in my of their personal struggles, as the savier of the world complex, to the inferiority one. That is what I love the most about Lisette Marshall's writing style, she writes about feelings, emotions, connections, healing, learning, how you and your fears are your greatest enemy. Her characters are all so real and with such an amazing depth.
