3 1/2 stars. A great thriller series, and a well-rounded heroine. I wasn't as captivated with this installment as I remember being with the previous two (perhaps because the violence seemed especially gratuitous), but still an exciting read.

Charlie Fox is a heroine for our time and in Third Strike she faces a new challenge and new life in the USA.

Zoe Sharp has created one of my favourite series and each episode is to be savoured!

SIGH. I would love one goddamn series about a kickass woman without
babies. The type of life Charlie and Sean lead is not conducive to having children. She will have to drastically sacrifice her career to have this goddamn kid. I did not read 7 books of this series just to read about pregnancy cravings, mood swings and the trials of motherhood.
It is 100% uninteresting to me.

Other than the highly irritating ending, I really enjoyed this novel. Of course, because of said ending, I am very wary of picking up the next book.
