Painfully Beautiful
Wow, this one hurt! Watching their love story play out with both of their pain was intense in the best ways. The push and pull was so well played out, especially with that wonderful ending!
I hope to see more from this world!

The amount of tropes in this book that I am a sucker for. Fated mates, enemy’s to lovers, forced marriage, hatred to love, second chance. It was just too good.

Woah… where do I even start? I could not put this book down and I was so not ready for it to end. I fell in love with Viantra and Alios and now I just feel so empty because it’s over.
Viantra has had her heart broken for a long time. She has been banished from her home and her partner. She is a strong female character who will not put up with anything. She is truly beautiful and I’m obsessed. I loved watching her from the beginning to the end because she’s so fierce.
I’ve had some mixed feelings about Alios. I wanted to give him a piece of my mind. But then… I of course fell for him. He’s such a smooth talker and you will immediately swoon over him. Also… the words and thoughts coming from this man had me fanning my face.
Let’s be real, this book was on fire. The plot, the smut, and all the above. If you have not read Incubus Promises yet, I highly recommend giving it a chance and then start Incubus Destinies. You do not want to miss out!

I was a bit sceptical of going onto book 2 if I'm honest after book one.....however I was pleasantly surpised!
I read this book in a couple of hours and I was a bit bereft when it finished!
Vee and Alios was a quick enemies to fated mates story line that had a really good flow to it.
I did read this book for the sumt....and I wasnt disappointed these are well written and have firmly cemented for me that everyone should have a tail

I think this was a solid 4star read. I enjoyed the action & the smut was as detailed as I like it. Now, soul bound/fated mates isn't in my top tropes but I did enjoy how it was intertwined in this book. The way that she couldn't help her feeling/attraction for him and vice versa had me in a chokehold.

Viantra and Alios are faded mates but years back he does something that makes her feel betrayed. So at the beginning of the book they hadn't fully mated yet cause she still hasn't forgiving him.
One thing I loved about Alios was that even though he loves her and wants her to be his wife his wife he still put his feelings aside and focused on her because he knew what he did we hurt her. He gave her space when she needed it, he listened when she had something to say ans he groveled. He would do anything to gain her trust and love back.
This is the 2nd book in the series I didn't get to read the 1st one but I was to able to follow along and understand everything. The author had me hugged from the start. I loved how little-by-little Viantra started trusting him again and their bond grew. Even when they weren't together you were still able to see and feel how deep and real their connection was. They would both sacrifice themselves for the other one.
It had a lot of sexy scenes, There was tail play which was a first for me. Maeve did a really good job creating this amazing world and characters. I hope that there's gonna be more in the series cause I'm not ready to say goodbye and I wanna know what else is next for their journey.
