This was such a fun read. I loved the characters, as well as, the mix of science, math, and fantasy. I look forward to the next adventure.

Unfortunately this one missed the mark for me. It had too much magic in it for my taste, and I didn't connect with the story or the characters.

I found the concept and world building of this to be amazing. It is intriguing & intricate to the point I was blown away that it is considered a middle grade read. I enjoyed myself immensely and I hope there is a sequel or series.

A really wonderful middle grade read. Honestly, who wouldn't want to ride on a train that could go to magical places where they see fantastic things. I loved that there were little drawings in the book and Suzy, the main character loved math and physics. The whole thing was amazing.

I loved the characters in this book; they were so carefully drawn and most were so endearing. The writing was good, imaginative and witty. I think if I read this when I was, like, 10-years-old, I probably would have loved it. My adult self, however, thought the plot line was just okay. But the characters and places were so wonderful that I will probably pick up the second book just to be with them for a while longer.

This was a fun read, although I can’t say it was anything too special. The pacing felt a little strange... it took a very long time to establish anything of note, and then was all resolved within a few chapters. However, I did find the premise to be thoroughly enjoyable. Overall I think it’s average, but still worth reading. It definitely made me want to read the sequel, so I’ll give that a go!

This imaginative tale is THE HITCHHIKER’S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY meets DISCWORLD for kids. Fantastic story, and I can’t wait for the next one.
