On a re-read some years later I did not enjoy this as much. Both our Hero and Heroine seem a bit two-dimensional. Jared is autocratic and bossy, and Olympia is absent-minded to the point of being annoying (on the border of TSTL). She's not the type heroine I generally expect to find in an Amanda Quick novel.

The first option of the available books.
Started off strong and ended pretty nicely. The characters here were wild in their own choices but it was good. Refreshing to read and helped pass the time. Love a good dark, morally grey fictional man.

I loved how different this was from most HR novels I’ve read especially regarding the female main character. I loved that Olympia was fully embracing her massive crush on Jared and it created some hilarious moments that had me dying of laughter. The dialogues were so well written and engaging. I was so absorbed in this book I’d forget where I was lol.
I loved the main characters and supporting characters just as much. The story and the intrigue kept me hooked and I couldn’t put it down! Loved it!

this was my first amanda quick and I really liked the storytelling and humor!
this was really cute and I loved the plot, but the stand out to me was how complementary olympia and jared were as a couple and how they understood and accepted each other. and especially how they had each others back.
it had some mysterious elements, but nothing overly complicated that subtracted from the rest of the story.
the ending was very satisfying and well rounded.

Ugh. Boring and so over the top. Could have been really charming, but it was so clumsy.
