This book was everything I could’ve imagined. Typically I hate the alternate timelines but with Elliot and Macey it just made it so much better. Watching a friendship bloom, learning secrets, and so much more, was simply amazing.

This book broke me! I feel so many feelings after reading it.

I started this book in the evening and finished it at about 3am. I couldn't put it down.

This book definitely lives up to the hype. I had been seeing this book rated as a 5-star read all over booktube, bookstagram, and booktok.

I went in not knowing what the book was about other than it being a romance of sorts. This book is soooo close to being a 5-star read for me. Maybe in time it will become one. It was so quick to read. The dual timelines created an underlying mystery that kept me wanting to keep turning the pages. The short chapters also helped make this over 400 page book fly. The dynamics between our main characters was very believable.

Without spoiling anything, I did not rate this a 5-star read because I wish there had been some discussion about consent somewhere in the book or the acknowledgments.

Other than my very minor critique, I enjoyed this book and would recommend if you are in the mood for a book that will get you in your feels about love and loss. If you don't want to be broken the next day, I recommend holding off on this book.
