I don’t know if it was just the narrator, the book itself, or a combination of the two, but listening to this audiobook was so incredibly boring.

I decided to read one of the Miss Marple books a month this year. This was a bit slow in comparison to some of the Poirot books I've read, but I found the narrator and characters humorous and was thoroughly entertained. Miss Marple is the kind of lady I'd like to have for tea. The clues were interesting but overall not a very complicated mystery. Giving this a four star because I'd be willing to read it again someday.

I’m a little embarrassed that I’m just now reading this book! This has got to be, in this reader’s opinion, the quintessential”English” murder mystery! It’s perfect! From the story, to the plot elements, to the characters, the pacing… not a word out of place!
