Who doesn’t want a blind date

There is nothing I love more then an enemies to lovers book and this book did not disappoint. The last thing Angelina needs is to get set up on blind dates for work. What else she doesn’t need is for the first “date” to be with her bosses son. To say Angelina and Jack don’t get along is an understatement. This book is hilarious and high on the chemistry. Loved it

Oh my gosh!! This book was so good. I'd pay to see this movie. This book had me laughing out loud and yelling at both Angeline and Jack. I enjoyed the dynamic of their family & friends. The writing was very good. I almost wish there were more diary type entries but it would not have fit with the story. Overall, I found this book to be quite enjoyable and it felt like there could be more coming from Brenda St. John Brown and this cast of characters.

This was a sweet and quick romance. Nothing too dramatic but still enough drama. Enjoyable, not too much steam/spice though.

A super quick read, engaging characters (for the most part), strong ‘enemies to lovers’ trope, but it works here.

So many miscommunications, so many false starts, but that’s all part of the fun, right?!

Also, can I have sequel with the bagel shop owner and the best friend please? Would have saved that epilogue bit too!

This was a fun, fast, engrossing read. I quite enjoyed it.

I have a couple of complaints, but they didn't take away from my enjoyment too much:
1. I hate the way the hero keep referring to the heroine as "sweetheart." That's a term of endearment that I have a hard time hearing as anything other than sarcastic or otherwise not sincere.

2. The heroine is supposed to be fat, I think, or possibly just "plus sized." She occasionally refers to her curves, but I think she's probably like a size 12, and the way she and other characters talk about it comes off as a weeeeeeeee bit fatphobic. It sort of feels like she's apologizing for not being a size 4 every time it's mentioned, and I don't like that.

Also, be warned that the very first chapter opens with sex.

Fair warning, when reviews tell you not to start a book before bed you should definitely believe them. I could not put this book down after I started! The romance was so cute, Jack was so sweet and I absolutely loved Angeline. I automatically related to Angeline and her pov chapters makes her so easy to root for. If you're looking for a sweet romantic comedy that you can fly through, I would totally recommend this one!

This was really cute! I loved the idea behind it! It was fun to read a book set in Rochester which is about an 1 hour from where I live. Such a swoony read

I don’t know how I feel about this book, it’s the one thought that has followed me through out this entire book.

I didn’t exactly hate the book, but I found myself feeling uncomfortable or just not entirely sure about some of this book. I just got this weird vibe the entire time and It’s driving me crazy because I can’t pinpoint what it is.

I feel like I enjoyed myself, but I am not to sure (go figure) but the one thing I am for sure is that this book was easy to read so to a certain extent I did like it.

I found the characters a little frustrating because of their constant bickering and lack of communication. Maybe I’ll let the first two times slip maybe a third, but it was like a roller coaster. One minute it was all good and everything was great but everything set them off. You would think they could somehow learn from their behavior but nope.

Overall I’m left puzzled because honest I don’t know if I even liked this or if I would recommend this?
