Okay, the story was much better than the 1st book.

Did I had a feeling that Rip is *suprise* King Rot? Yes, I had.
Did I had a feeling that Auren us Fae? Yes, I did.
Did actually happened? No, not really.
Did I want to slap Auren because of her wrong loyalty to Midas? Yes.

Girl, you need to get a grip.

But...
But...

I really want to know how it's going on.

A super quick and fun read! Not any better than the first one but still enjoyable. I did see many of the twists coming, but since the book achieved what I was wanting I really wasn’t upset about it all. I’m excited to see where the rest of the series takes us.

OK COOL SOOO. I’m just over here trying to maintain my sanity. HOW THEY TWIST ME AT THE END AGAIN JUST LIKE THAT!? I feel like I’m being played a fool. There are other more obvious twists I see coming that make me feel like a mastermind reader then this author SLAPS you in the FACE at the end ONCE AGAIN to remind you that you actually don’t know SHIT. I’m fully invested in this series. This second book was good. Life on the road as a prisoner full of secrets, turns out so exciting guys. FMCs learning to be themselves and how to be stronger, always hits. MMC doing all the right MMC things? Plant a sign on my lawn and consider me SOLD. As far as a spice rating goes, once again it can get graphic for OTHER characters, but for our main girlie almost no spice to be seen or heard from. Like a whisper in the wind, maybe a half a chilli pepper if that
