A este punto me he leído todos los libros de Lauren Asher y puedo concluir que sus libros pese a que se leen lento, nunca quiero que se terminen tan rápido. Son del tipo del libro que tiene muchos rellenos, con slow burn, pero sacan demasiadas sonrisas.

En esta ocasión amé a Iris y Declan hacen una pareja preciosa y sin dudar su química se siente a kilómetros. Podría decir que Declan me caía mal, pero estaría mintiendo, a pesar de sus tratadas quería que fuera feliz y obviamente merece que siguiera por mucho tiempo rogándole perdón a Iris, que por cierto la adoro. Ella es una protagonista que tiene demasiado fortaleza y me inspira a perseguir lo que deseo sin importar los obstáculos.

Llevaba demasiado tiempo posponiendo leer este libro, literalmente desde hace medio año atrás y creo que por algo lo hacía porque pude disfrutarlo al 100%.

PD: Solo falta 2 días para Final Offer y ya no quiero esperar más para leer la historia de Cal AHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

After reading Final Offer, I gave this one a shot and was (surprise) let down. Grumpy/ sunshine is a personal favorite trope, but the way it was done between Iris and Declan was a bit overkill to the point where their supposed chemistry wasn't convincing at all. Continuing with the jarring energy from Cal's book, the opening scene had odd pacing, which carried throughout the rest of the book. It felt like as the reader, you were dropped right into the middle of things (which is normally good) but the context to make the need for the marriage of convenience be any sort of reasonable wasn't there. The rest of the book just felt like playing catch up/explaining why Iris and Declan should be together. Also the way Declan handled the third act break up drove me up a wall. Also the whole Disney adult situation was much more prevalent in this one, not ideal. Won't be reading the other book in the series.
