Book #192 of the year 2020

There is an annual cricket tournament and Ciel has been asked to be on the Blue House team. He finds out that if the Blue team can win or he can show great showmanship, he can be invited to the Midnight Tea Party where he will finally get to meet the headmaster. This is his ultimate goal.

I love Prince Soma to bits. I just smile whenever he's in a page. I also loved seeing Vincent Phantomhive and the similarities he shared with his son.

De repente se convirtió en un manga de deportes de Cricket y yo me quedé con cara de no entendí. La portada de este volumen, preciosa.

So. Much. Cricket. This volume felt like a large amount of filler took over and left only the last scene to advance the story. Took me three days or more to read it all. :(

This is a very humorous installment. I really enjoyed seeing Soma's competence at cricket and his ability to make friends. I'm glad we saw at least a little of the house staff, though I missed them for most of this volume.

Ciel is a little arsonist, isn't he? He really doesn't seem to consider the danger of collateral damage to bystanders when he wants something.

I'm not a sports fan, so virtually a whole book dedicated to Cricket was pretty boring to me.

Note: Chapter 76 says that baseball is "not so popular" outside America, which is false, as it's played worldwide, and the most popular spectator team sport in Japan (Wikipedia). Perhaps baseball was not so popular at the time this manga takes place, but it is now.
