I wanted to know what was going to happen but at the same time I'm pissed off by the main character.

Okay let’s talk real about this book in bullet points:
•Zoey - goes through utter hell, loses everything she has and is still someone standing strong
•loren - absolute utter snake , broke my heart and left me in pieces deserved everything he got
* the inner circle - should of paid better attention to their friend and maybe they wouldn’t of been left so hurt
* Erik - absolute wetwip
* Feret - nefret is an absolute monster and I hope Nyx brings her hell
* Stevie - welcome back , kinda
* Aphrodite - has redeemed herself I hope she has piece
This book has taken a turn in the series, just when I thought I knew what was happening I was so far from wrong. It was worth every ounce I read.

the actual concept of this series is enough to make me want to continue, i love vampire books in general and there is a charming nostalgia for me with these ones. but the cringe “no swearing” dialogue and the “yes i’m a dork” comments following some sort of pop culture reference are difficult to read sometimes. also if i had a dollar for every time shaunee and erin call each other “twin” i’d never have to work again. i love aphrodite and stevie rae but everyone else is getting on my damn nerves. every time zoey interacted with loren all i could think was “zoey you dumb bitch”. and like how tf else did she think having 3 boyfriends was gonna work out

Chosen has to be one of my favorites out of the entire series. Zoey starts to realize the responsibility of her powers as High Priestess in training, and the main plot really starts to thicken. A lot of plot twists also occur in this one, which I both love and hate. Hehe.
