More adventures with Silas and Darien, and familiars Grim and Pip.
A haunting in a Christmas tree farm keeps the intrepid foursome busy, with a sad tale of family devotion.
Then the Christmas spirit comes when Darien’s father calls, they get a tree and become a family unit.

This holiday novella for the Necromancer series is now available on Amazon and Smashwords. More fun with Darien, Silas, Grim, and Pip. :)

3.75 stars. I'm not sorry I read it, as a few important things happen, but it isn't all that compelling. It isn't what this author has led me to expect, and I suspect that's a symptom of it being a series so far encompassing a very short amount of time, minus a looming external conflict. If there's a next one, I will read it.
Note: this book ends at 87%. There's a sample chapter from the intense novel Don't Plan To Stay. I gave it five stars and it earned every one. Intense story.
