I really enjoyed this book !

The first half was a bit slow but i’d say necessary? And then everything fell back in place in the 2nd half of the story.

2 love relationships, very different from each other. I loved both !

And the few end chapters wrecked me !
SpoilerThe separation between Wren and Tor was heartbreaking. And Elske running to save her but abandoning her master 😭

A great reading !

I was so pleasantly surprised by this! 😍

"Twin Crowns" was the first book in months I was able to really focus on and speed through. It reminds me so much of the fantasy books from 4-5 years but in such a positive way. It's got great worldbuilding, interesting relationship and some great action at the end (and of course, the romance was nice, too 😉).

I would definitely recommend it and I'm looking forward to the next book!

this book made me want to grab my best friend and force them to write a book with me. this was hands down the most entertaining and gripping YA fantasy i've read in a long time.

The premise of this story was very interesting and gave me Anna and Elsa vibes in a "What If..." episode of they had been separated at birth. I was already feeling excitement to what would happen when they meet, but it turns out one of the sisters, Wren, has always know she's had a twin sister and plans to impersonate her to become Queen and free the witches, who are the enemy of Eana, where Rose, Wren's sister, rules.

While Wren has been raised by witches and to harness her power, Rose has had the opposite - having no idea she has powers and hating witches.

While reading this book I was constantly annoyed by Rose and her snobbish attuite, she was entitled and I guess that makes sense as she's a princess, but many royalty characters aren't spoiled - she's still annoying to me. Everything she thought and every decision she made just gave me second hand embarrassment, and it almost came to the point where I skipped her chapters. Her romance with
Spoilerher sisters best friend
was also very fast paced and didn't feel right, they had only known each other for a couple of days - weeks at the mass yet they fall in love....I dislike it.

Wren, on the other hand, was my favourite. You understood what she was doing and I was voting for her all the way, even when Rose tried to get back to her kingdom and want her crown back, I was firmly on Wren's side, who was far from annoying and had a much better romance with
Spoilerher sisters fiancé's guard
. She really held the book together and the only reason why this book is a 3 star instead of a 2.
