Quick and snappy, A Wrinkle in Time has just enough sci-fi absurdism to be entertaining but still understood by children. Due to time, the dialogue feels a tad bit stilted and goofy, but in a charming way. I also think it's nice to get a female protagonist that isn't brilliantly smart, instead of the usual smart girl bookworm you find leading so many other middle grade and children's stories.
Minor: Ableism, Bullying, Child abuse, Domestic abuse, and Gaslighting

Simply put, a must read for adults and children alike. There's a reason this book is a classic and a reason it defies classification even today.
Moderate: Grief, Abandonment, and Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Bullying, Child abuse, Domestic abuse, Physical abuse, Forced institutionalization, Colonisation, and Classism
