words cannot describe the state that this book had me in. yesterday I read a grand total of 1300 pages of this book so you can imagine the emotional strain. SPOILER!!!!!! i predicted the pregnancy thing from 800km away bc he always talked about how he would never have a child and seeing as nothing seems to go right for him I just knew his worst nightmare would come true. As I read this at 3:30am last night it got to a point where I would spontaneously burst into full on sobbing fits even if it wasn't that sad. but I have never read something so emotionally heavy and draining in my life and now I don't know what to do or read. I was thinking about rereading binding and keeping 13 bc I miss them but idk if I can ever go back in that house. like physically and mentally I am dead. gone. deceased. wowza like mah leward and I remember hating Joey in binding and keeping 13 bc he was a flop drug addict that left them in their time of need but I will never in my life doubt this kid again bless him.

This is a huge book and at times it does feel like it. There's a lot of back and forth between Joey and Aoife. Here we're finally caught up to Shannon's story and we're seeing things in Joey's POV but it's not a huge focal point in this one which I'm grateful for because I kind of struggle with books that tell the same story just in a different POV. But like I said this one does feel like a big book at times because the pacing is slower/medium and at times it does feel like it's dragging a little bit. It's like every time Joey gets a step ahead there's like 3 steps backward and it does finally wear on him to the point he does eventually end up in rehab. It's a lot to take in but I do like how this one ended and I loved seeing more of all of the family and Johnny's family here. Plus, I loved whenever Gibsie appeared. I really can't wait to read his book!

“Being with her was like breathing. I didn’t know I needed the air, but I knew that I would die without it.”

“I don’t deserve your forgiveness. But I will earn it. Because whatever comes our way, from here on out, I’ll be beside you. 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿, 𝘄𝗲 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘆 “

I have never read a thousand book as fast as I did and entertained as I was, all throughout. The found family in this series is unmatched and this book wrapped up the happy ever after we all hoped for.

Joey and Aoife have one of the best stories I have ever read. This book broke me more and pieced me back together. And seeing everyone again from binding and keeping 13 made me go boom boom.

The majority of the book I LOVED SO MUCH that I read in a day, but after the whole incident happened, I lost interest in the book and it took me a week to pick back up. I love how towards the end
paul apologized for how he treated aoife
because it shows character development also how “someone”
got Shane holland arrested so that “my first love could have a chance with her first love”
OMG I ACC CRIED BECAUSE I LOVE WHEN THEY DEVELOP OVER THE COURSE OF A SERIES
