when i say these books have changed my life, i mean it!

joey lynch and i are so irrevocably tethered in so many ways. seeing a story like his was so special, i can’t even begin to describe it with words.

aoife molloy is one strong powerhouse woman, and i admire her so much. whatever you do, please read their story!

I have to admit i loved the first 2 books more, but only because i’m mainly a fluffy happy reader, and rarely go in the angsty books. But man, the characters hooked me from the first 2 books  so i couldn't NOT read this! Im so so heartbroken for Joey and Aoife. There were times i hated them, and then there were times i really loved them. It made me feel so much. Both characters made some really bad decisions, and i was so frustrated and had to remind myself that they’re still kids. The book was also soooo long. Unnecessarily so. I found myself skipping forward from time to time and backtracking. Their relationship was also super toxic. I mean i admire how much Aoife was dedicated to joe, and i kinda admire how much leeway her parents gave her when she wanted to chase joe around to wherever (there were SO MANY TIMES her parents told her not to go out to chase him and to take care of herself…. But she still gets her way to get out except that one time they finally made her stay). But realistically, this was too intense and unhealthy. Its great it ended nicely, but also sad how joe ended up not being able to experience NOT taking care of a baby and just finally enjoying his youth a bit more. Im happy he’s content at the end but damn, he has another baby to raise now.

But yea, mostly enjoyed seeing Shan, her adorable brothers, Gibsie, Johnny and his parents! They made everything worthwhile. Gibbs is a sweetheart.

I’m also really really curious at how that thing with Lizzie, Katie, Hugie and Patrick is gonna go. Seeing blurbs about how there’s potential cheating made me so angry at Lizzie (not to mention she was pretty bitchy in the 1st 2 books), and i never thought i could like her OR read her book…. but darn it, Chloe Walsh has made me even more curious to learn more after reading this book! I just really hope its not the same story in another characters POV. I’m kinda getting bored of how it’s centered around the events of the first book. Hoping the next ones shows everyones lives AFTER the whole book 1-4 events. (Or at least just covers the past events briefly)
