After reading Nicole's Silent Heroes series and Paint by Numbers series, I went back to the beginning. I just can't get enough of the Carlton Harbor crew. This is book one in the Carlton Harbor series and, in true Nicole fashion, it did not disappoint. Her ability the write stories and characters that hook you from the beginning is unparalleled. I love her writing style!
This story follows Megan and Kline. Megan and Ali are twin sisters closing in on their 30th birthday. Hoping to turn 30 in serious relationships, Megan comes up with a pact to switch places and vet each other's dates. What Megan didn't plan on was spending way too much time with her insanely good looking boss, Kline Retherford.
I loved this story so much! It's a perfect workplace romance filled with all the spice and will leave you wanting more. And, Nicole has solved that problem for you, because Megan's sister's story is book 2 and follows the same timeline of this story from a different perspective.
