I loved this book. It was very insightful. It was also very "tough-love" as the title says. It slaps you in the face, calls you names, and pretty much shames you into eating better.

Definitely an eye-opener, presenting loads of facts that were new to me. Glad to have read this book, it was much more interesting to me than any other book about veganism and what's really in the food we're consuming.
I'm now a little scared, and I had a cup of coffee with milk in it and I feel gross. Clean-eating starts now. Use your head!

These women are hard-core, PETA-supporting vegans. I'm not sure if I can completely give up meat and dairy, but I am inspired to drastically cut down. Do not read if you have a sensitive stomach or are not aware of how animals are really treated on factory farms.

This book is funny, it really is a "no-nonsense, tough-love" approach. If you are a weenie or tend to get defensive don't read this book. If you want to stop eating garbage, read it.
By the time I read it, I had already been vegan for some time but it was enjoyable nonetheless.

Funny title aside, this is an inspiring book about veganism. I still can't eat like a vegan, but this helps a lot with watching what you put in your mouth.

I enjoyed reading this book..., the authors are really funny and very blunt and to the point. I was like having a conversation with an outspoken friend.

Interesting read primarily put out to espouse the virtues of Veganism. If you are a dairy farmer, rancher, Republican or married to one you may find the majority of this book hard to enjoy. However the emphasis on being a conscientious food consumer is important. The fun, cagey voice of this book makes it a fun read (unless you can abide expletives).

I read a lot of health and fitness books, and I was not very impressed with this one. It was more or less all the information I have read in countless other books, just worded and written in a very smart-elec tone. This book has a lot of bad language and is written in what seems like an abusive manner to the reader. Like the authors are being verbally abusive to the reader to get them to use their diet plan. I was not impressed and I would not recommend this book.

It's basically just a book about being vegan. While that may be a perfectly healthy lifestyle for some, you can be healthy and eat meat at the same time. Was hoping for a bit more specific information about little changes to make. Probably should not have read this as the proud daughter of one of America's farmers.
