This feels like 90s feminism.

Also it's like Georgia O'Keeffe the play and there are only so many flower vaginas you can see in your life.

This would be so boring to see live.

Despite some social elements of the foundation of this play being a bit outdated, this is still a really great read. I would highly recommend specifically reading the 20th Anniversary edition, as it has some wonderful additional history information as well as more inclusive language and frameworks in the additions.
The actual monologues within the play are so so well done, heartbreaking, empowering. Sadly I feel this is still a must read, even 20 years later.

this is definitely not perfect, nor is it all-encompassing of feminism, but it doesn’t claim to be either of those things. i think it holds the most legitimate value in appreciating the beauty of the vagina, and societally uncovering that beauty. the short bits having to do with other values of feminism fall a little bit flat, but that main part is certainly empowering.
