Like the previous books in the series, this is a very enjoyable read. I love Will and the relationship between her and Lillian.

What a slog. I almost DNF'd this one. I wanted to like it more because the premise is so clever (someone is committing murders based on murder mysteries), the setting is classic (post-WWII NYC), and the 2 main characters should have been interesting (both women, one queer, one with a medical disability). But, damn, it was just a drag.

An absolutely enthralling writing style and simply beautiful story telling. Just, not a very good story with most of the interesting characters remaining on the sidelines, underdeveloped and unexplored.
