The 5th book in the Loon Laky Mystery series was good, and one of the victims was a snowmobiler from Tomahawk. The mystery part of the book was good, and I also learned more than I previously knew about allograft tissue and their harvesting, a field wide open for abuse. Very interesting.

This one was a bit more interesting than the others because of the subject content. After reading the book I understand where the title came from, but I think the author could have come up with something better suited to the plot.
For me personally, these books are mind candy. They are mysteries that don't require a lot of thinking. I read them in between other books. That is not to say they aren't good, but they aren't on the same level as Paul Doiron's Mike Bowditch series or Kreuger's Cork O'Conner series. They are more like Nick Russell's Big Lake series.
