Fry does a great job making the Greek mythology work as a sustained narrative. The audiobook has the added treat of hearing Fry’s funny and eloquent narration.

This was a very coherent, at times funny and detailed telling of greek mythology. I enjoyed the audiobook very much, Stephen Fry is a great narrator.

There’s a lot of world building in this book that feels more like information dumping than true storytelling. Also, not enough recognition of the assault on women that end up being painted as complaint in their brutalization.

This is a good retelling of the Greek myths. If you don't know the myths or need a recap, this does that in a concise and easy to follow manner. Also, Stephen Fry's performance makes the book quite enjoyable.
