Mythos is a great book if you want to get started with greek mythology.
Sometimes is hard to keep track of the many names and stories following quickly after another. But in the end I was glad I got to learn about it.

This book was interesting, amusing as the storytelling goes. The best part for me was the roots of language and their connection with the myths, how Kronos is still spelled in "chronic" as his punishment was to count eternity, and many other origins of plants' and animals' names.
The myths itself were hard to follow, too many ancient names, too many children of different deities, there was no silver lining most of the time, however, the stories reflect deeply the perplexity of human nature presented in Gods' actions and punishments, or in their lust and rewards, and how the human mind specifically is fascinating.
