Liked their romance, they seem unable in my opinion to keep their hands off one another. He is supposed to wait for permission considering who she is but she doesn't want to wait and their relationship goes to another level.

This was a so-so MC romance. The heroine was a little young, being straight out of high school, an inexperienced, coming from a cult/forced labor camp, and the hero felt a little “take advantage of vulnerability”-ish because he moved so quickly, knowing the heroine’s background. But other than that this was okay. It is a very lite version of MC romance- some violence but moderate, and the members are not overfilled with an abundance of capability. There is some bumbling, which I suppose is more realistic. For me the best part of it was the ensemble cast. I’m interested in the other MC members (esp the Phoenix and Annabelle storyline) and will probably continue the series because of that.

“I ain’t ever been in love, but I imagine it feels like you can’t breathe without the other person. When you’re apart, you can’t wait to see them. Everything seems better when they’re around. When they hurt, you hurt. When they cry, you cry. When they smile, you smile. You would give your life to save theirs, but if you lost them, you would lose yourself, too. “

Was I kept on the edge of my seat the whole time. Yes, yes I was.
It was event after another and mysteries were coming up at every turn. I really enjoyed the storyline, it kept my interest from the start, right to the end.
Ember was a badass female lead. I love how she stuck up for herself and could put those biker men on their asses. Absolutely loved her.
While reading this book again I fell in love with Dash all over again. He was such a charmer and I loved how protective he was of Ember.
I enjoyed how their relationship progresses throughout the book.
This is definitely a binge worthy series due to all the twists and turn.
The first time I read this book I gave it 4 stars. Now reading it a second time I’m changing it to 5 stars because it kept me as captivated as it did the first time. It was like I was reading it for the first time again which never happens. Definitely recommend this series.

This book was a missing a few key things that would have made it even better. I feel like the story focused so much on the plot that we missed out on more of the sexual tension that could have been there between the main characters. It felt like all of sudden - the were together and then all of sudden they were in love. It all happened so fast and it was too easy. As far as the plot - it was a good story with twists and turns that were unexpected - but we are still left with so many questions. I assume the story continues and we will eventually get those answers. Finally, the ending happened too quickly. Assuming this series will follow a new couple in book 2 - I don't feel like book 1's couple was wrapped up enough. We didn't get a true HEA for the main couple as typically seen. Just a brief mention of what would happen in the future. Overall - good book, I liked it, and I will continue to book 2. The narration made many scenes kind of cheesy and over dramatic, but oh well!

Enjoyable read and a well thought out book. I could see some plot twists coming but there were others that I totally didn’t see coming which was cool.

I have some theories about the future of the characters, and I guess I’ll just have to keep reading the series until I find it if I’m right or not :D

This is my first book by Teagan, and it won't be the last.
Bloody loved it, loved the connection between Dash and Ember. He was soft with her, know her life wasn't all that good growing up. I also loved that she found herself and became strong and independent.
Looking forward to more

This story held my interest enough to finish, but I had serious issues with the improbable plot and the two insta-love relationships of Ember’s. The romantic one with Dash and the paternal with Phoenix. The dialogue and internal monologue also felt unnatural. Too bad. ☹️

Words cannot express my love for this book. I love the concept and the underlying suspense that runs through it but the connection between Ember and Dash is perfect. The push and pull these two have before Ember finally relents. Dash being her protector no matter the consequences. Even if he gets hurt in the process. There are so many little twists and turns that will keep you on your toes throughout. The romance and the backstory behind it all weaves such a brilliant tale that it will leave you breathless.
I think what I am loving about this book is the fact you get a really in depth feeling for this club as you do not just see POVs from Ember and Dash but also other members of the Blackwings. Honestly, I devoured this book, could not put it down and lost sleep because I needed to know how it ended! If you love MC, I highly recommend this book!

Ember needed to leave the compound where she was raised after overhearing they were going to sell her to someone. Seeking help, Ember ends up getting the name of Phoenix who is the Blackwings MC President. When Ember arrives asking for help she finds herself thrown into a world that is completely opposite of her upbringing. She also finds herself under the careful watch of Dash. Ember is being protected by Dash but after secrets are revealed it puts her in an even more delicate situation.

There is so much to this story and boy did it have twists and turns. Definitely picking up more books in this series. I liked Ember, she is a survivor and the way the story unfolded had me riveted Dash is intense and he is biding his time with Ember but knows she will be his old lady if she gives him a chance.
