This is a well-written description of an initial BDSM scene. This is a short story, not even a novella. So one's expectations must adjust accordingly. There is no particular character development.
As a scene, my only complaint is that the dom rather tricks the sub by asking her a question and then punishing her for answering. It turns out she is supposed to ask permission to answer the question she has been asked -- which is way too cute for my tastes.
Other than that, it was an enjoyable scene and I will be reading the next story in the series soon.

a beautiful scene
It’s a beautiful bdsm scene. The whole thing is almost like a fever dream and with all the Alice in wonderland references, that atmosphere fits very well. The only reason I couldn’t give it more stars is that it just feels like a scene from a story, not a story on its own.
