Loved this book. It’s so refreshing and new and challenges a lot of topics. Ending confused me tho

The premise of this book is there is a center where you can go for ten days and come out fluent in any language you choose. The protagonist wants to be a great translator, and through an ex is referred to this very secret place. How do their methods work? Is it nefarious or an ancient practice?  This is a quick read, with a very gen z character where I have to say the ending for me fell flat, but I enjoyed the journey and premise. Might be a good spooky read for those who don’t want to be too scared.

Not what I expected and I really enjoyed the most of it. More sci-fi horror than thriller but left me feeling unsure. I think I liked it?

There is a piece of writing in this book that is so good, I read several pages, out loud, to my husband.

Unfortunately the rest of the book is just pretty bland. I felt like it was building to something big, and it didn’t quite accomplish that.
