Books that have this topic as a premise are hit and miss for me. Oftentimes, they aren't really believable or it is glossed over as to the why. I liked that the author was very succinct in the reasoning and explanation. Did it make it right? Absolutely not. However, I understood and DC would be empathetic and I liked that.

This book ended right as I was getting invested. I liked the epilogue but wish it didn't feel so abrupt in going from one scene to the ending. I'm still waiting on Harper's story.
