First book of 2024 that made me cry ✓
A conflict through cheating that didn't make me not enjoy reading the book ✓
I loved this one more than I thought I would, bc cheating obvs, but damn if Cate can get away with doing the impossible. CCW was my most read author last year and she probably will be again this year bc I can eat her books up like reese's pieces. Idk if I'll be able to get enough.
cw's are aplenty with the main one being grief due to multiple miscarriages

Another pretty good addition to this series featuring the second chance romance between Wall and Mona, whose perfect marriage imploded four years ago after multiple miscarriages. Trigger warnings galore (miscarriage, infidelity, depression) in this deeply emotional story of healing and coming together to find out if reconciliation is possible. If there’s one minor criticism I have for this, it’s the fact that perhaps Wall and Mona’s healing of trust is too easily won, but for me, this is overcome by the fact that their communication was fantastic and they were both willing to take ownership of their issues. I thought this was really sweet and highly recommend it.
Graphic: Addiction, Body shaming, Drug abuse, Infidelity, Mental illness, Miscarriage, Grief, and Abandonment
Minor: Stalking
