I read this book while on the lake and basking in the sun and even though it is not marketed as a Sumer or beach read it was the perfect book for it!

The characters are what really drive this story, we see Sloane's huge blended family and all the quirks and troubles that come with them. Alongside Joseph and how almost lonely he seems at the beginning of ht ebook. But as the story goes on Joe doesn't just get close with Sloane's family, he becomes a part of the family.

I also really loved Joe and Sloane's relationship because it was very interesting to see them interact as their characters in the movie versus the "real" them. And I enjoyed how as a reader it was hard to distinguish the difference between the two at times.

The growth of both of our main characters is amazing. Joe's growth comes from before the story even really starts and yet I know how much he has changed as a person since his first interaction with Sloane. And Sloane is just trying to find her passion for acting again and this movie falling in to her lap is exactly what's he needs to thrive.

Ultimately a super cute love story all on the set of a romance movie, who can ask for more?
