I really wanted to like this book, but I was unable to get into it. The characters were intriguing, but the story in the first 50 pages just did not hold my interest or pull me in. The story was also a bit meandering and hard to understand. I almost felt like I missed some part of the story.

Entertaining story of love, lust and jewels with a pair of characters who can't keep their hands off each other but aren't sure if they should trust each other either.

Finn Dalton is a bit of a black sheep, he left a successful life as a district attorney to join his two friends in slighly-outside the law ventures to do good for others.

He remembers Felicty Trent, a British heiress, two years ago he left her in a hotel room and now he finds her in another hotel room, scantily clad and handcuffed to a bed. He thought he was over her but she re-awakens feelings him him.

They have to team up and this puts both of them in a position where they're close for a long time. This could be dangerous, as much for their hearts as their mission.
