I did not like Hudson’s attitude… I guess that it was internalized homophobia but Randy just changed so much and I did not like that message…

I started this off SO skeptically, and not just because of my burning distaste for Bye Bye Birdie. While my opinions on the musical don’t change too much, I was thoroughly pleased with this story by the end.

A tale of what acceptance means, both internally and externally, it takes some not so unexpected twists and turns. But while the surprises might be few, the characters are engaging and propel this piece forward into new territory with each page.
